    Two-Way Player, Luka Samanic, of the Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, has been named the NBA G League Player of the Week as announced by the league Tuesday afternoon.

    Samanic, 6-10, 227-pounds, led the Knicks to a 2-1 record with averages of 30.0 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists.

    In the Friday, Dec. 3 win over the Skyhawks, Samanic established a new career-high 36 points on 57.5 percent and 12 rebounds. He is the 10th Knick to post a 30/10 double-double while shooting over 55 percent.

    The Zagreb, Croatia-native joins DaJuan Summers, Chasson Randle, Trey Burke and Billy Garrett as the fifth Westchester Knick to receive the Player of the Week award.
