I don't really want to make this a Trump thread, but it's inevitable.

I was watching the president speak about the death of Al-Bagdadi, saying that he was crying and whimpering and all, and I just didn't believe him. I have sadly gotten to the point where I really believe almost nothing that comes out of Trump's mouth. I knew a guy in high school who was like Trump. A pathological liar. Eventually, we trusted nothing this "friend" ever told us.

Similarly, when the president talks about the transcript of his infamous call, he again is lying, saying that it was a "complete transcript." But of course it wasn't, it was a memo of the call, with tons of deletions. Is everything he says a lie? How can you trust anything he says?

It's so strange. I almost can't fathom how someone can operate that way. I really hate to lie, and hate when people lie to me.

I treat everything that comes out of his mouth as a lie including things that I can see with my own eyes and hear with my own ears that negates whatever he's saying.
Since only the dog was in the vicinity of al-Bagdadi when he ran down the tunnel and killed himself and his children how in the hell would Trump know that there was any whimpering going on? Huh? Did the dog tell him? Even the dog has sense enough to know Trump is a liar and a jerk and neither to be trusted nor even dealt with.

It's absolutely embarrassing to me as a citizen...and unacceptable..he's made lying "The Art of the Deal" in his own mind. What's even more disconcerting is the revolving door of fired or disgruntled cabinet members or "yes men" and a Senate majority that won't stand up to him for partisan power reasons, not American interests. I haven't felt this way about a president since Nixon... I once read that love is unconditional trust. I want to love the freedoms of democracy and an independent republic again without throwing trusted allies under the bus and cozying up to Sultans, dictators and Monarchs.

I've disliked every Republican President since Eisenhower but this one is by far the worst, even worse than Nixon.

I lick my politicians butt so hard that we both share the same colon!

It's the only explanation that I can come up with for anyone that can unconditionally trust their party/politicians. To be fair though, I still have people that I can't convince of Hillary's corruption and deceit.

Show me the evidence on Hillary and if there were evidence, why wouldn't she be indicted by now? After all, Trump has the full weight of the Federal government aimed at her and still nothing.

To me it says that if you go your entire life - starting as a child mostly - are not held to a moral standard, you have no reason to adopt it. There is no consequence for him. He's never acquired the basic human compass of morality and ethics, and why would he? Living this way has gotten him 1) Billions of dollars, 2) fame, 3) the highest office in the country. Until his lies are punished, he will not learn. Even then, at 70+ years of age, it is likely far too late.

All politicians lie and it's basically their default mode of communication. Trump is just more brazen about it. However, I consider the policies they enact to be what I judge them by.

I have a close relative that lived in Little Rock during the Clinton years there. He was a sheriff for the city of LR. He is now retired and has shared his feelings about how crooked and deceptive both Clinton’s were. He also knows Clinton was guilty of sexual abuse but was protected to the hilt and Hillary would deny his involvement numerous times that he was investigated.
I voted for him and found out cousins feelings and take after he was impeached.
I’m not nieve I know that there are many politicians that are on the take and power hungry.

You just can't help yourself can you? The first fucking sentence in @Stevenson post is a lie. I thought it hilarious. That's the only reason I read this forum now is for laughs.

Let me "parody" this thread for you Adam Schiff style....

So like I'm totally NOT talking about like President Trump y'all. But, like I'm super mad bro cuz he like LIED again about like some scholarly religious leader all crying and whimpering and I like just can't take another minute of it but I like totally don't wanna make it about Trump but I know you're just gonna make it about Trump and I totally don't want to but it is like totally inevitable.

Ps....watch this video if you don't know this show and reread my "parody" in Lola's voice.

That is because they are looking for direct evidence. There are other ways to be corrupt than to get caught red-handed with evidence. Her policies show her corruption, in my opinion.

Hillary paraded around the country wooing wall street giving speeches, making money and lining up potential donors to her campaign and/or foundation during her last presidential run. Profiting off the fact that she might end up in the white house. In my book that is corruption plain and simple right there. The fact that she was going to work for wall street, just like Trump is doing now, shows how little she gives a crap about American's, especially American workers who are clearly suffering nowadays. Keeping the corrupt swamp in congress filled. There is also the whole Democratic National Committee debacle that forced Debbie Wasserman Schultz to resign. She had major ties to Hillary Clinton. That whole ordeal showed off Hillary's corruption in full bloom.

The fact that these politicians are not working for Americans, rather their donors, wall street, the ultra rich, all show their corruption. They are suppose to be working for all Americans, not just a select few.

Hillary Clinton, as well as Bill are both moderate republicans. Bill betrayed the democratic party and pulled it to the right, then Obama, another moderate republican, helped to keep it there. These people are corrupting the democratic party, they are corrupt in this fact as well.

If you cast out the moderate wing of the Democratic party, the remainder will be a very small and powerless entity. If that's what you desire, the Green Party still exists (I assume it does anyway, probably there is no way to know for sure).
