I have to say, I've never seen even one episode. I've been told it's some of the best TV drama out there. That said, do you think it's in my best interests to begin with the 1st season and go from there? the person who told me how good the show was also told me that I'd be missing most of the context if I didn't start from the beginning. I hear there's another new show coming on AMC that's supposed to be just as good, or better, than Mad Men. Not sure of the name, though. Thanks
I just started watching MadMen last winter. It is amazing. You definitely want to start from Season 1, you'd miss too much stuff they mention later on. No Joke, couldn't recommend it highly enough! And the other show you are asking about I believe is Rubicon.
Just downloaded the first season of Rubicon, and will watch it this winter. Heard good stuff about it though.
I haven't seen Mad Men, but I'll start from episode 1 in the first season when I start watching it. Assuming you have the time to do so, ABM, you should do so, too Ed O.
Mad Men is a great show. I have watched it since Day 1. This season, the 3rd, was the best. The show is moody, interesting, different. It is fascinating to watch the evolution of the 60s, and the people change with the decade. Peggy Olson is the best character.
Actually, now that I peeked at their website, I believe he was talking about Walking Dead. He mentioned a bunch of intense cgi as being part of it.
it's only won best tv drama @ the golden globes for the last 3 years in a row, hence probably terrible. i seen em all, awesome show - no brainer....
