Vince Carter was awesome last season.They usually pick a popular, up n rising player for the cover. Vince Young is perfect. And hes not that far from a elite player.
Im glad they chose Vince Young, not Vince Carter. Even though im not a big fan. I think its cool that they picked a young player. Madden cover boy doesn't necessarily mean an ELITE player. Plus not everyone is willing to be on the cover of Madden, with the whole jinks and everything
Looks pretty much the same as last year...Madden 07 was a huge disappointment for me, especially since I bought it for the 360. The game wasn't smooth at all, and neither were the transitions from menu to menu, the replays, or the screen where you choose your play, etc. Madden has been going downhill ever since they got the exclusive license from the NFL, because now they really have no competition and can continue to put out a crappy product year after year with minor changes in graphics and game play.This will probably be the first year in a while that I won't be buying Madden... and I might not even rent it either.
The problem with '07 was that they rushed it so that it could be available on the new Xbox. Certain features and graphics weren't created to full potential and it ended up dissappointing. EA was able to take their time and develop a much better game which fans deserve for paying such a high price for it. As long as the gameplay improves, I'll continue to buy Madden. I can't wait!

I'll buy it as always, but idk if I'll like it. the graphics for madden on X-box really suck ass, and they never change the game play. I really really hope this years better.
gang tackling isn't the only new feature, there A.I. is rapidly improving to meet 360 expectations. I'd like to play Madden in HD and not have it look like crap, which is what 2007 looks like.

I don't understand why it took them THIS LONG to put in the latteral feature. It was in NCAA Football..why not Madden?I'm kind of pumped about the replay of classic games though.

I cant wait for Madden, like every year I will definitely buy it, although I do wish 2k still made football games because theirs were awesome, Madden will probably be good. Madden has been dissapointing since they were the only football game available but hopefully this year is different. Getting laterals and gang tackles are good but hopefully they have added more than just that.
