    What a great guy:

    Mark Madsen recently went to Baghdad as part of a joint USO-NBA effort, the Los Angeles Times reported. "We have some real heroes over there," said Madsen, who left Washington on June 16 and returned June 21. "I came home with this tremendous appreciation and feeling of awe for the U.S. Armed Forces. Now I understand why they call it the 'service.' They're providing a profound service for all of us."

    i saw this on NBA.com. he liked jumped into the crowd and they carried him, it was pretty funny

    Shawn Marion went also, as well as a couple other athletes. They showed on Sportscenter a week or two ago clips from their visit and Mark Madsen danced for the crowd.
