On the Oregon Lottery Scoreboard app. I took the Blazers on the Moneyline, $50 bet made me $102.50, and I also bet $100 on Lillard scoring over 25.5 points, which he did. That won me $195.20. I don't think I'll bet on the Blazers very often, because I'm simply making emotional fan bets, rather than reasoned bets based on data, but it was sure fun watching the game last night knowing I had a stake in the action.
Nice. I remember several years back the company I worked for had a world series pool and I had done pretty good over the years. There was one game where I was sitting on the winning score and team a was leading like 8-1 and it was the 9th inning with the losing teams last at bat, 2 outs and a runner on 3rd. Fucking pitcher throws a wild pitch which allows the runner on 3rd to score watching my winning pot going down the drain. The announcer makes a comment as the runner scored that certainly won't make a difference in the outcome and me screaming at the TV screen, "bullshit, it cost me $75".
I love the new app. Wish you could bet on college sports, but still. I got the Blazers +5.5 tonight. I try not to bet on them unless I think I’m being objective. But who am I kidding..
Had a football ticket with several winners on it, and the last game was almost ended. The Steelers had the game won and my spread covered. With less than a minute left, rather than punt from their own end zone, they took an intentional safety. Those two points cost me a ticket worth close to $1000.
