According to RealGM. I was hoping maybe they would want Sergio and Frye for something of value. Oh well.

Sergio and Frye would cost us too much. We weren't going to give up picks or someone like Hedo like a saw some Blazers fans suggesting.

The most we were giving up was Brian Cook, Keith Bogans, etc.

I was thinking a pick. Orlando is very likely going to get a end of the round draft pick . . . but I guess that is even too much for Sergio or Frye.

What did the magic give up for Lue?

Agreed. I'm not sure what I would have wanted back, but it wouldn't have been very much. I think Frye would be a nice fit in Orlando because of his outside shooting. Seemed like a good fit. Oh well.

Orlando’s search for a point guard to help deflect the blow of losing All-Star Jameer Nelson has the Magic nearing an agreement with the Milwaukee Bucks to acquire Tyronn Lue for guard Keith Bogans, league executives familiar with the discussions said Thursday morning.

Sources don’t expect any snag that would stop the deal from being completed Thurs

Dude I don't know what it is, but Lue has had some serious output during a half a game here and there or so against the Blazers. I think he has had a grudge against the team every since Damon was here, badmouthing him. I can't understand it, but it happens.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I don't think MIXUM was saying Lue is a better player than Williams. Just that Lue is a "Blazer-killer" in the sense of a scrub who seems to have big games against Portland. Though, that wasn't my perception. A scrub who seems to have big games against Portland? I would pick Kobe.

    ;)

I think it was stigma from MB, Rice, Wheels and those guys on Courtside, when they were putting their lists of Blazer killers who aren't great players, and Lue was on it. I'm not sure where it came from but I guess he's had 2-3 games in his career that were good against us?

No he goes off in bursts for a half is what I meant to say. He has done it multiple times. Multiple teams. He hates the Blazers.

He's right. Lue has had several well above average performances against Portland. Much more than his usual line. But, it wasn't half of one game. It has been over several games. Mike and Mike even comment on it.

Well, maybe you guys didn't see my post, but Lue played 22 times against the Blazers, his team won only 6 times and he only scored in double digits 5 times and only one time he scored 20+ (21 points in 2003 with the Wizards).

He sure doesn't look like a blazer killer.

You know you can argue your stat line all you want. Folks who watch the game know better.

So you are arguing he had a bunch of clutch shots vs POR instead of just good all around games?
