<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Will Tracy McGrady be leaving us soon? After the all-star weekend in Los Angeles, McGrady had to be thinking, "Why even go back this year?"

Good question. If you can think of an answer, please forward it to the Magic.

We all wish T-Mac and the Magic could live happily ever after. But why should he stay?

The main things that lured him here were the prospects of winning and being close to home. The Magic have delivered on Auburndale -- but little else.</div>

That made the paper right? Finally , someone talked about Declerq as a center.

Well at least he hasn't left yet. And doesn't he has 2 years until he can opt out of his contract?

I think at the end of next season.. So yeah you could say two years..

Dont quote me on that though..

Yeah you can't blame T-Mac if he wants to leave.. You can blame him if he doesnt give us a chance.. But if he does(and he has) You cant expect him to stay.. We need something major to happen, because without it.. We really will be stuck in a rebuilding stage for a longggg timee.

We're going to need help NOW. So now I'm all for picking Okafor with our 1st pick. Dwight likely won't develop soon. We need to show him some promise. I expect him to give us another chance and not opt out and wait to finish out the remaining 2 years of his contract and then make his decision depending on which direction the Magic are heading in.

Is Dwight old enough for the NBA draft cause I thought he was comin out of HS and Stern set the age limit to 20 yrs.

I think he WANTS to.. I dont think he its done yet... I dont know if he can just do that, or he needs to get the Owners and everyone else involved to make this kind of decision

Yep. Like the article said. Draft Pick , Hill Come back...T-Mac mentioned in another article he wants Okafor so you could consider that done. Unless Gabriel don't give a..about T-Mac which means he doesn't give a...about Orlando Magic.

As I've said before..Hill back 'playing well and Okafor with some changes will be the only thing that could keep T-Mac in Orlando.

(Hopefully this thing about Shaq wanting to buy the team could give T-Mac some hopes)

Perhaps if Kobe doesn't return for the Lakers next season, could we possibly be seeing Tracy McGrady in Laker yellow? Hmmmmmm??? [IMG]

Not until the next season is over. If I'm not wrong he can opt out after next season is over. So only way you could see T-Mac in Laker Yellow before next season is over would be Orlando Magic having an UGLY season and/or Hill getting injured again , then Orlando would probably trade T-Mac away.

Living in L.A, if Kobe leaves the Lakers, I don't see the Lakers waiting a year for T-Mac and "hope" he signs with them. The Lakers are a championship team. They have no time to be rebuilding. They'll proabably bring back Payton and Malone for more money and see how those 3 can do.
