    Full Story
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Four years ago, Gabriel was named the league's executive of the year after hiring Rivers and creating salary-cap room to land Grant Hill and Tracy McGrady in the summer of 2000. The Magic made the playoffs the past three seasons, but Hill's debilitating ankle injury and some poor draft picks have caught up with the club -- and maybe Gabriel.

Among other things, Gabriel said his job is in jeopardy. "You're in trouble until you produce," he said. Gabriel also said not re-signing Darrell Armstrong was a major setback, that he's looking to make trades and that the team wants back Hill as soon as he is physically ready.</div>

As it should be...Gabe should have been canned long ago.
