<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Orlando Magic forward Grant Hill will miss his fourth straight game Friday with a sore left shin as the team's small playoff hopes keep fading. Hill has had intermittent pain since being kicked more than five weeks ago. The bruise also sidelined him for three games in early March, then he returned for another 11 contests before missing the last three. The six-time All-Star underwent a CT scan Wednesday, and the results were sent to his doctor in North Carolina. Stacey Augmon will start in Hill's place against Detroit on Friday. </div> Source I hate to see Grant Hill's comeback story end on a sour note. The Magic still have a realistic shot at making the playoffs, but without Hill I don't see them pulling that off.
dissapointing this is dissapointing. dissapointing to see Grant Hill's great comeback season end like this. dissapointing to the Magic, so close to the playoffs have their hopes shattered again becuase of his health. Thier fate seems to depend on the fragile status of his ankle.
This ruins the Magics playoff chances and it ends a wonderful season by Grant Hill, hopefully he comes back next yaer and tears it up again.
What a bummer. He came back after being injured for seasons and had a great season this year and was a high MIP canidate, and a great leader for the Magic. Now hes out and like shapecity said, Orlando may not have a chance without him...
I think it's unfortunate to lose him but am okay since it's not the ankle. I would just look at it as "We'll see you next season" instead of "hope he can play again". Take time Grant.
