<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Magic will meet with forward Grant Hill to discuss whether he should stop playing this season and address his surgically repaired sports hernia. Asked if the matter had been broached, Hill said, "Yes . . . No. Yes . . . No." Hill has played in just 21 games this season and did not play Saturday night against the Golden State Warriors. He left Friday night's game in the first quarter after experiencing lower abdominal pain. Coach Brian Hill said he would wait until after the weekend to see how Hill feels and meet with him to see "what might be the best road to take." Brian Hill said it was "obvious" the area is bothering Grant. "He continues to experience this pain. . . . There must be something there. I don't think that anybody anticipated this situation," Brian said. The coach said it was his understanding that Grant Hill had another meeting scheduled soon with Dr. William Meyers in Philadelphia. Hill told the Sentinel recently that there is a possibility he could have another surgery. He originally had sports hernia surgery Oct. 31, but has undergone two rehab stints when pain made playing unbearable. Hill happy with Howard's discontent Brian Hill said forward Dwight Howard's recent comments that he was "disappointed" in his second season as a pro were "refreshing." "It's refreshing that a player looks at his play today and evaluates what he's not doing, what he could be doing more of," Hill said. "It's not a player who looks at his stats and says, 'I'm leading the NBA in rebounding and average or whatever' and says, 'That's pretty good for a second-year player.' " Howard said he wasn't doing enough to help the team. "He's a work in progress," Hill said. "He's making gigantic strides in some areas and in some areas he sees he can get better, particularly at the defensive end. I'm not discouraged." Hill said the potential is there, but that it wasn't realistic to expect Howard to carry the club in his second season. "Let this kid grow and become a player. To put heavy expectations on him is not realistic," Hill said. Etc. Asked about a dipsy-do move he made Friday night against the Cleveland Cavs, Magic guard Carlos Arroyo said, "If I had done that in Utah, I'd be on the bench." Arroyo played for no-nonsense Jazz Coach Jerry Sloan early in his career. Hill said he's OK with Arroyo making the occasional flashy play "as long as he completes the play." . . . Magic forward Darko Milicic, a native of Serbia, said he'll play in the World Championship this summer for his homeland. . . . I think they should put him on the shelf. The magic need to have a starting unit that plays every night together. They dont have to shelf him completly, just bring him off the bench for some mins down the stretch. He cant be in the starting position cuz its messes up the lineups. Turk deserves to start the rest of the season.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MickyEyez:</div><div class="quote_post"> ? you hate him why? he's still a great leader and great person.</div> He ruined this franchise because he was greedy. Didn't contribute a single year, and took up 1/3 of our money in the process. He is the sole reason Tracy McGrady is no longer with us.
