Inspired by BKS's Jordan thread I came up with this. Name your favorite past and present Orlando Magic moments. For me? <u>Past</u> Shaq busting down the rim....Thats dominance! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZP9OSWEUaus...related&search= He did it multiple times in his career. Just because of that they had to modify the NBA liscensed Bball hoops. <font color=""Orange""><u>Honorable Mention</u></font> T-Macs 62 points. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnWZ1T7Gk4s <u>Present</u> Dwights dunk against the Celtics. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwPDb3_Cyus It looks like something from NBA Jam! Boom Shakalaka! <font color=""Orange""><u>Honorable Mention</u></font> DeShawn's dunk on Gerald Wallace http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEfx2WpGLek...related&search=
shaq busting down the rim is just amazing....the 62 points by tmac just makes you remember how great he was and still is... I dont have any video of my favorite memory of the magic but it def has to be when nick anderson stole the ball from mj in the playoffs. Thats gotta be number 1 in my book

It's funny how I remember what I was doing when I was watching each of these moments. I remember sitting in my living room with my dad watching the 62 point game by McGrady. I was like freaking out because it seemed like nobody could stop him. For the Dwight dunk against the Celtics, my friend was over at my house and we were both eating chips in my room watching it (the only reason I remember the chips was because we both jumped up when he dunked it and the chips went everywhere). For the Stevenson over Wallace one I think I was in my living room again and I remember going nuts and rewinding it with my Tivo over and over again. As for my favorite moment, I'd probably go with McGrady's 62 points. Oh, and another honorable mention of mine would be Steve Francis' game winning layup against the Bucks in his first game here. I was pumped and I started to think that we might actually make the playoffs. Like I said, it was good at the time.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting SP23:</div><div class="quote_post">That Dwight dunk was sickkk!</div> Plus his two blocks on the other side that led to that.
How about the 2004 Draft when the announced that we picked Dwight and then traded for Jameer Nelson from the Nuggets. I was really excited when I heard that because we got the best player in Dwight and then the Naismith winner in Jameer. I couldn't believe it.
How about us drafting Dwight Howard with the #1 overall pick. I really hope the only uniform he ever wears is for the Magic. http://youtube.com/watch?v=VKo-uhTYhzM

By the way, good to see you around MickyEyez.

I was so pumped when we had so many nail biters against the Hornets in the beginning.
One of my favs was Dwight's first game against the Bucks and he threw that sick dunk down off the fast break... That was nice, I was at that game and remember spilling my beer cuz I going crazy... Dwight's "Dunk" against Boston on St. Pattys Night... Bananas
Past: T-Mac's 62 point game. I didn't get to watch the game live, but I recorded it. I remember coming home and switching it to NBAtv, I was like, "Dayummmm, 62 points? That's gotta be a mistake". I just thought of another one, some of you may remember this, some of you may not, I for one will never forget it. Orlando @ Detroit. Everybody thought the Pistons had the game won (including myself). I'll give you a play-by-play: Detriot inbounds the ball, here comes T-Mac with the steal. T-Mac passes it to Juwan Howard, Juwan gets fouled and makes the shot. What made it even more better is when Juwan shushed the crowd. Classic! Present: Dwight's dunk against the C's. The way he cocked his hand back was just ridiculous. And, I know this really isn't a moment, but I still gotta mention it. Dwight's "28 & 26" performance. I went crazzzy when I was watching that, lol. I was like, "Come on, Dwight. Just 2 more points, and 4 more rebounds. You can do it!" I wish I would have recorded that game.
Yeah his 28, 26 preformance was amazing.......That was near the end of the season against Philly when we had hope of making playoffs Dwight would have had more points if he hadn't been fouled as much. They were hacking the hell out of him.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Swish15:</div><div class="quote_post">Who else here agrees that Dwight REALLY needs to work on his free throws?</div> I think every NBA fan period
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Franchise4Ever:</div><div class="quote_post">I think every NBA fan period </div> No, only Magic fans. Fans of every other team don't ever want to see a 70+% FT shooting Dwight Howard, because he would be nearly unstoppable. THe way teams tried to shut him down was foul him a bunch, the Hack a Dwight. If he can make FT's, watch out.
