<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Orlando Magic have all but given up trying to re-sign power forward Darko Milicic and will meet this weekend with Jameer Nelson's agent to talk about a possible extension for the point guard.

The Magic have been attempting to work a sign-and-trade deal for Rashard Lewis with his old team, the Seattle SuperSonics, in order to retain Milicic. But it looks as if that deal or others to get some compensation for Milicic will fizzle by the time free agents can officailly sign contracts Wednesday.

"We've moved on and Darko's moved on," Magic General Manager Otis Smith said.</div>

We should sign him to a $990 million deal over 12 years. Go Otis Smith!

Naw, we'll bullshit with him like we did Darko and just let him walk next offseason, because he isn't a veteran.

I'm serious though. Like I said in my other thread on Jameer resigning.

If we wait till next offseason to try and get Jameer, were gonna lose him. And I'm predicting Philly will go at him. And go at him strong. I bet nothing else would please Jameer more than to come back to Philly. And as cruel as it sounds, we cant let that happen. haha
