He'll be a valuable role player with us for many years to come. Darko has averaged 21 minutes per game now and he is 7th in the league in blocks. Just imagine if he got the PT that Emeka Okafor and others get. He is currently 4th in blocks per 48 minutes. He's been a very effective player for us. He will bring the shot blocking and the outside shooting, while Dwight gets the rebounding and inside shooting. They are perfect complements.

Most certainly if you're comparing him in terms of where he was drafted, but to suggest that he is not an important piece to the Magic and simply a "huge bust" is absolutely ludacris. Talent-wise, he's got as much potential as many of the other players in the '03 draft and with GMs drafting based more on talent-level than actually NBA-readiness, it would naturally lead to a lot more gambling by teams, so I don't blame Detroit nor Darko for being the second pick.. By the way, you wouldn't want another post based off of stupidity, would you?
