Tonight we're taking on the pathetic Celtics so hopefully we don't play down to our competition and can get a win. The way Boston's season is going, it seems very similar to Orlando's 19 win season when Doc Rivers was coaching us. Could it be that Rivers is just a piss poor coach? Who knows. Anyways, tonight should be an easy game but I'm sure we'll find some way to make it frustrating. Hopefully we can gain some more leverage in the playoff race. Also, New York is playing tonight and Indiana is playing the Nets. We need the Knicks to lose and Indiana to beat New Jersey since they are closer to us in the standings. Root against the Knicks and Nets. Go Magic!
I know. Even Pierce was laughing at that horrible call. Awesome offensive rebound by Dwight and then the putback. We better hold onto this three point lead and win this game.
^Yeah. What the hell was that?! Oh my god, Dwight just grabbed a huuuge offensive rebound and threw down an aggressive slam. We're up by 3 right now with 23.9 seconds to go in overtime. That's great Jameer, run the clock til the last second so you can rush a shot. Looks like we're going into double overtime.
Man, another overtime. This is horrible. Paul Pierce is a beast though, I would love to have him on our team.
What a big time shot by Pierce. This is why I hate Jameer Nelson. I love the fact that he wants the ball in his hands when the game is on the line, but he's settling on the jump shot. He could get to the lane if he wanted or at least make a pass or 2 and run off screens if he really wanted the jump shot. There really is no reason for Jameer to stand at the half court and wait 20 secs before trying to shoot a jump shot over Pierce.
97-94. We better win this game considering we got jipped during regulation with that bullshit call. I'm still pissed, that's one of the worst calls I've ever seen. We really need this win because the Knicks already won tonight and the Pacers and Nets play each other so one of them will add a win.
We are officially the most anti-clutch team in the NBA. The good part about this is I am going to watch a real team play this weekend and won't have to deal with this crappy ass team.
<div class="quote_poster">Swish Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Go to hell Hedo Turkoglu. Turnover and then the missed three. ****.</div> Hedo actually played a very good game tonight. He was guarding Pierce very good. Dwight and Jameer cost us the game tonight.
Grant just dunked on Jefferon, lol. This is not looking good at all though. We're down by 7 with 19 seconds left. It's over for us. To top it all off, the Knicks and Nets won tonight.
Maybe we should have grabbed Pierce's jersey and pushed him out of bounds before he hit those 2 shots, it wouldn't have been a foul.
Game over. We lost. Why do we have to be such a frustrating team? We just lost to the Celtics. How does that happen? We honestly don't deserve a playoff spot because we're a pathetic excuse for a team. Granted, the refs were bullshit but when it comes to calls, you win some and you lose some. Dwight goaltended against the Knicks and got away with it so we can't really complain. I'm more pissed off when it comes to our performance in both overtimes. Why does Jameer always take long shots at the buzzer when the game is tied and any shot will win the game? Also, did Brian Hill actually call the final shot of regulation when Jameer faded away for a three on the opposite corner of the court? If so, wow.

But instead of arguing that the Celtics aren't nearly as bad as their record or your questionable opinion make them out to be, I'll just take your word for it and assume that they are pathetic... And I'll also assume that the Magic are even more pathetic since they couldn't win such an easy game against such a horrible opponent, especially since they still have something to play for, unlike Boston.
<div class="quote_poster">GatorsowntheNCAA Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">So what does that say for Brian Hill who got owned by Doc Rivers coaching tonight.</div> Exactly. I could outcoach Brian Hill. Any team that starts 13-4 and is first in the conference and then drops to 8th and fighting for a playoff spot, has a terrible coach. That means the coach obviously wasn't making the right changes and just went with what worked in the beginning of the season. Well Brian Hill, teams catch on after 20 games of doing the same ****. If only he understood that. I think Brian Hill has lost this team.
