LOUIS, Oct. 16 (Ticker) -- The NBA season doesn't begin for two weeks, but Tracy McGrady is ready to get it underway now. McGrady scored 27 points to lead the Orlando Magic to a 90-86 exhibition victory over the Utah Jazz on Thursday. In 33 minutes, McGrady shot 7-of-13 from the field and 12-of-13 from the line. Teammate Drew Gooden added 20. Gordan Giricek, who came with Gooden last season in a trade from Memphis, and free-agent signee Tyronn Lue were the only other Orlando scorers in double figures, with 17 and 11, respectively. Matt Harpring scored 19 points to lead the Jazz. Andrei Kirilenko and Sasha Pavlovic added 10 apiece for Utah. The Magic shot 41.5 percent (27-of-65) from the field, while the Jazz shot 38.5 percent (30-of-78).
