27-0! The Ravens have done somethign that they haven't done in a while. Winning on the road. But if that's not enough, the Ravens shut out the Tampa Bay Buccanneers. They had one of the best defenses last year. But the Ravens didn't stop there. They actually had a thing they have never had before, an offense. Here's the game breakdown: On the first drive, McNair hooked up with Derrick Mason for a few catches and the play was capped off with a 4 yard touchdown run by Jamal Lewis. The Buc's first possession was a three and out. For the rest of the quarter no one scored yet. And McNair fumbled twice, both recovered back. The next quarter, Chris McAlister intercepted a pass and took it to the house for 60 yards! Near the end of the half the Ravens intercepted a pass again but this time it was Haloti Ngata, down inside the 20 yard line. Which resulted in a field goal by Stover. HALF TIME! The Buc's finally had a long drive but ended in a turnover on downs. The Ravens led the next drive downfield but had to punt. Tampa Bay's next drive started off good but a pass was interecepted by Ed Reed! The Ravens used their possession near mid-field which led to a 4 yard touchdown pass from McNair to Daniel Wilcox. And so on... The final score being the Ravens 27, Buccaneers 0. My thoughts? Thank you for asking. Can you say... uh... I don't know... what about? D - FENCE! Think about it, talk about it, heck, even cry about it! The Ravens are back baby and it's just the beginning. Ray Lewis racked up 7 tackles and a sack in the game. The Ravens recorded three interceptions and had no turnovers! Yeah, you heard me, NO TURNOVERS! Kind of impossible eh? Now that Boller is on the bench and McNair is at helm we are facing Oakland next week and you'll see me again with another topic. And for those who thought Jamal was done for... Get your eyes checked man, because I don't think you're seeing things clearly. We did everything we planned to. We got the turnovers, led the Cadillac to a dead end, and McNair led ourselves to the end zone. But enough of us, if you are annoyed enough, let's talk about some other games. Miami 17 Pittsburgh 28 I know this is old but no one got to hear what I thought about it. Joey Porter and Bill Cowher, talk about a kiss. One of the two most masculant (spelling?) guys, I mean, it's just an interception. It would be different if it was a Super Bowl win, even though it happened already, I didn't see any kisses. Maybe I should challenge that kiss, I just hope the referees see the red flag. Cincinnati 23 Kansas City 10 I am really rooting for Trent Green to be okay, it's really a heart breaker when you see stuff like that happen. Philidelphia 24 Houston 10 DeMeco Ryans had a HUGE game! Too bad they lost... Seattle 9 Detroit 6 This is football men! Not soccer! New Orleans 19 Cleveland 14 Not sold on Reggie Bush... But I am sold on Charlie Frye being the franchise QB. He looked great if some of those plays weren't called back by penalties. And congratulations to Kellen Winslow for catching is first TD pass in the NFL after two years. He caught more passes in one game than he did in his first two seasons in the NFL, what an accomplishment! Atlanta 20 Carolina 6 It's just weird having Michael Vick and two touchdowns in the same sentence. But they had a great running game. New York Jets 23 Tennessee 16 Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you, Vince Young, the third overall pick in the 2006 draft. Denver 10 St. Louis 18 Memo to Jay Cutler: Your time is coming soon! Buffalo 17 New England 19 J.P Losman for MVP! Rest of the games coming soon!
So the division starts off Ravens, steelers, Bengals = 1-0 Cleveland = 0-1 but cleveland wasnt that bad Looks like its going to be a hard divison
Yeah, I'm hoping the Ravens can make it 2-0 since they are playing Oakland this week and after seeing the game on MNF, it looks to be like a cake walk, but nothing is certain in the NFL. ALL HAIL MCNAIR!
After watching the Raiders play the other night, I have no doubt that the Ravens will walk away with the W. The Ravens look like the real deal so far, but it was only the first game of the season so who knows what could happen. Better hope McNair doesn't go down with an injury.

The game ending INT was purely his fault.
^ I felt really bad for Frye since the pass hit Edwarfds straight in the chest for an INT. Just watch out for Cleveland this week vs.Cincinatti
AFC North is probably the strongest division in the NFL now. I wish Romeo well, but he's got a hell of a mountain to climb.
