i was just reding this article and came across some talk about malone: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">King Malone? - Karl Malone might not be a Los Angeles Laker next season, but Kings vice president of basketball operations Wayne Cooper said he likely will not be a King, either.

Malone, who sat out this season to recover from arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, had said he would only return for a 20th season to join the Lakers. But Tuesday, his agent told the Associated Press that Kobe Bryant's comments regarding Malone on a Southern California radio station so infuriated Malone, he is considering other teams.

Minnesota and San Antonio are reportedly in the hunt, and Cooper said the Kings are not.

"He has teams he's been checking with," Cooper said. "It's not something that (president of basketball operations Geoff Petrie and I) have talked about."</div>i was just wondering what the other kings fans thought about the idea. personally i think it would be a bad idea to bring in malone. as long as webber manages to stay healthy and plays like he has so far there is no need for malone. the kings are better off giving songalia minutes and further developing his promising abilities.
however if webber was to get re-injured, bringing malone as a single season substitution may be ok, but still doesn't have my support. if that was to be the case they should have just as well kept divac.
    what do you guys think?

I feel like this, Malone doesn't want to play here and we have Darius Songaila who could benefit greatly from more minutes if Webber is to go down in some unfortunate circumstance.

Yeah, I don't think it would be too big of a loss if Malone decided not to come to Sacramento. Were pretty set down low. However, if he does decide to join the Kings, I for one would not be opposed in the least.

    Good, Don't want him.
Malones only gonna go to a team where he has a chance to win a cheap ring

I would take Songaila over Malone any day of the week.

Malone was a great PF, but age has caught up with him

I Seriously doubt that we could get Karl Malone playing here.We already have Songolia here, and there's really no place for Malone here anyways. That's probably why the Kings have said there not intrestred.
