Yea, great game for Karl, hell of a game by the Lakers so far. Right now, Lakers are up 23 with about 4 minutes left in the game. Here are the biggest stats of the night to me. So far, the Lakers are shooting 54% while the Spurs shoot a dismal 35%. Plus, LA is doing all of this while Shaq only scores 9 points. Wow. Plus, 28 assists on 40 field goals. That shows that the triangle is being effective. The big thing though, Duncan has been held in check all game. 3/10, 11 points, 11 rebounds. Ouch. San Antonio, when I was watchin this game, didn't look like they were playing even near the level of energy LA was playing at. LA was going after loose balls and they were getting buckets in transition early and they were also getting in the paint early and often. This really set the tone and San Antonio has just not been able to match anythign LA has done since.
i thought Malone wouldnt do that much for us this season...HIm and George have been playing amazxingly for us
