What the Hell was that? The Refereeing against the Celtics? We would have DESTROYED them if the reffing was EVEN. How many games have you ever heard of where 2 guys foul out, another has 5 and a couple others have 4?

Garbage, plain and simple.

i watched most of the 2nd half, the refs really did screw the Bulls out of the game. i'm not a Bulls fan and it was very clear the one referee was all for the Celtics.

Funny, I thought the refs were even... evenly awful for both sides. Neither team liked the way the game was called.

I didn't get a chance to see this game but I'm glad I missed it. From what I hear it was just a horribly called game and the refs decided it instead of the players. Second time in a row that the Bulls winning streak has ended to Boston but I'm all for another one.

Look at the boxscore, Airness. If you take away the intentional foul at the end on Pierce, the fouls were almost even at Bulls 31 - Celtics 30 and free throws attempts were 39 - 35. It's not the ref's fault that the Bulls missed 14 of those attempts and had 21 turnovers.

Quit bitching.

You want to know why we lost? 21-35 at the foul line. 21 TO's.

I am tired of lame ass excuses of why we lost. It wasn't the refs. The refs didn't "decide" the game. The players did. Had they shot better than 60% from the foul line and protected the ball, we would have won.

I don't think you can balme the officials for the loss. The free throws were even, the Bulls just couldn't capitalize. They missed 14 of 35 free throws and had 21 turnovers. That's why they lost. You people need to stop making excuses for them. When a team loses, it's typically for a reason. Tonight, they couldn't make free throws or hold on to the ball. That's exactly why the lost. So, stop with the bias admit when your own team screws themselves.

On a lighter note, good to see Ben Gordon explode again. Too bad his great game (31 points in 29 minutes), couldn't result in a win for us.

Much respect, Vintage. A rare and honest view of the situation.

There were questionable calls both ways. That's not new, it happens every game.

By the way, it is possible for the Bulls to lose without the refs screwing them. You'd think fans of a team that has been awful for years would understand that concept. It's funny how much the mentality changes when the team starts winning.

Pathetic? Hah, I was unable to watch the game and was just saying what I'd heard as I hadn't read a recap or seen the box score at the time of the post. Stop trying to pick fights and take a second to read other things than what you put in bold.

Maybe you should learn how to read. I put the whole line in bold. Meaning, I did read that "you heard."

I was calling the statement pathetic.

You should learn how to read. Obviously, since I bolded the statement, I must have read it in order to place the bold brackets in. In fact, the only reason I put the brackets in front of that part was so that you knew I read it.

To clarify, I put the "From What I Hear" part in bold. Obviously, I knew you didn't watch the game from that intro part of the sentence. And indeed, I did read the whole post. I still stand by my original comment.

Thank you,
Vintage

I know the bulls turned the ball over a lot but the refs were calling some bull **** calls the whole game. I would understand if they were real fouls but mainly it was ticky tack fouls. The refs just killed the flow of the game by calling pointless fouls.

Please, I know its all been said by Vintage and others, but I feel I need to comment. There is no way you can say the refs weren't even, especially when they kicked out Perkins for going for the ball, the possession after Curry went after him. And did the refs make sure pPayton and Raef hit big threes and Pierce was automatic from the free throw line?

Perhaps you should clarify as it obviously wasn't clear enough. It looks like after you made your opinion noticed in the first post you went on and made two consecutive, useless posts calling people out. Maybe it could've been done in a more tasteful manner instead of trying to rile someone up as I sure hope that's not what you were intending.

I don't know how I could have clarified it anymore. I bolded the part where you said "From what I hear..." Obviously, if I am bolding things, I read it. I did not know I needed to spell things out.

From now on, when encountering you, I will know. I apologize for not knowing ahead of time.

Secondly, look at the statements I bolded. Using my first post, then looking at the bolded parts, I thought it was very clear I was calling the statements that the refs screwed us out of a win pathetic, not the poster. But I suppose that falls under what I said earlier; I must learn to spell things out.

You can't let the ref's play decide the game. What ever team executes is the team that will win the game. Vintage already explained why the Bulls lost and he is 100% right refs don't win or loose ball games, the players do.
