Come on now, doesn't anybody out there care about this team?? I know there are a couple of regular contributors to this forum, but for such a talented, exciting young team, (not to mention a team in LA) I would expect more regulars. I'm trying to post daily here, but very few people seem to be willing to respond or simply don't care to. There may not be many Clipper fans out there, but there at least has to be more people with opinions on some of their players. I know there are similar problems in some other team forums here at JBB, so maybe some of us can try to help each-other out with bringing more threads and post to our respective team's MB's....
Sadly too many people in L.A would rather be Laker fans than Clipper fans.Which is a shame.Clippers aren't the better team of course but in terms of excitment and overall talent the Clippers have it.You go through their starting 5,all 5 are very exciting players that have different areas in their game to impress you. Clippers are building a big 3 of their own Elton Brand Corey Maggette Quentin Richardson Scoring a lot of points, getting up and down the court and exciting fans all round the league.Losing players like Miller,Odom and Kandi you would think Clippers might dip down but that has't been the case.Great team basketball,a good coach and guys willing to work for each other is the key. I really wish the Clippers had more fans on here,I love watching them play basketball. When you go see a Clippers game no matter who wins the game you are promised to go home smiling.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting notMuchgame:</div><div class="quote_post">lol, I watch a lot of their games so I'll try to contribute</div> Haha, me too. I try to post here as often as possible. Matter fact, the main 3 forums I browse/post in are Lakers/Warriors/Clippers, I also watch most of their games on NBA League Pass, so I will also contribute.
Here's something I would like to hear your comments on. Is anyone as surprised as I am at the season that Maguette is having. I never thought he was that talented before this year. To me he was just an equal to Odom and Miles. But he's definitly taking his game to another level. Did anyone see this coming?
Corey has been steadily improving his game with each passing year, but this year he's definitely having his break-out season. Just from watching him in his first couple of seasons in the league, you could see his raw talent and potential. I think it was just a matter of time before he was able to refine it and show the entire league what he was capable of. I thought he made an error in judgement when he left Duke after just one season, but he obviously didn't just take for granted the fact that he made it to the NBA. He's continued to work, and it's definitely starting to pay off for him. In my opinion this is just the beginning for Corey, he's only going to get better. P.S. - Thanks for the quick responses everybody! keep 'em coming. I'll be posting some new threads later on today for everyone to give their 2 cents on.
I make previews for almost everygame and it gets hit, i think this forum could be a little more active, i will think of more things to do.
Sorry fellaz...the Clips are one of the teams I really like..I been meanin' to get my ass in here and post but I always get sidetracked..I'll make a better effort.
I'm still only a week into this place, but haven't posted much on the Clippers board. I love watching the Clips and don't miss a game, so I'll be contributing more often.
I like Elton Brand, Corey Maggette and Quentin Richardson but Donald Sterling's stingy and uncaring ways will continue to hurt the team. Frankie Muniz is in your corner playa.
I loved the Clippers, great potential, very young team, in a few years, no longer one of the dominant underdogs they'll be top dogs. So as to bring life back in here, I propose a deal, who wants to make Clipper previews with me?
Damn, I know this thread is old as hell, but this forum only gets a few posts a day, IF that many. Let's try to recruit some members over here, to get those forum more active. Anyone with me for that? Clippers are a young exciting team I like to watch, and I'd love to talk Clips basketball on a daily basis.

I would post here more often, but no one else really posts so theres nothing to talk about.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting custodianrules2:</div><div class="quote_post">I feel your pain Clippers. You do understand that Elton Brand and Corey Maggette are not part of this deal? Just the anti-Steinbrenner.
I've tried to keep up with this team the last few years. I was happy to see Donald Sterling finally opened up his wallet to bring back Brand and Maggette. I thought the Clippers would make the playoffs with Odom, C-Maggs, Brand, & Q-Rich, but injuries always destroy their chances. The best games were their overtime match-ups against the Blazers a couple of years ago. As good as this team is and the talent on the roster, it's just frustrating watching this team at times. They make so many mistakes and play sloppy basketball. In SoCal, Anaheim and Orange County basketball fans have sort of adopted the team as their own. I think the Clippers simply need to get out of the Staples Center and Los Angeles to get a stronger fan base. It's tough for them to compete with the Lakers winning history and it's a shame they don't really have a home of their own.
