    Now this is a tough question for all the Man Utd fans...

    Who has been out best No.7 ever?

    Best?
    Cantona?
    Beckham?
    C.Ronaldo?

    Your thoughts?

    I would say Best, the guy was a genius and nobody will ever fill his boots. Ronaldo would be in the bottom of that list, if he cuts out his tricks he would be World Class.

    Best= Dribbling and scoring
    Beckham=Shooting/crossing and freekicks
    C.Ronaldo=Tricks and Playmaker
    Cantona= All rounder.

    Hard to decide really but just for the quality of him and his legendary reputation i'll go for Best

    Beckham was fantastic, best crosser of the ball, genius at dead balls. Beckham was a top player for United, nobody can say he wasnt.

    I think people underestimate the importance of Beckham in a team. Hes got great free kicks, deal ball situations, crosses, shooting, stamina and he always give his 100% whenver he plays.

    George Best was easily the greatest player to ever play football let alone the greatest number 7, the mans a legend. Second would have to be Cantona then Ronaldo however give Ronaldo a few more years and you never know he could take Cantona's spot or maybe even Bests.

    Georgie Best easily. He was a great footballer. But dont take anything away from Cantona and Beckham because they were great footballers too but not as good as best. As for Ronaldo we'll just have to wait and see if hes gonna be better than Best.

    Ronaldo will bever be better than Cantona or Best. Ronaldo needs to learn how to be apart of a team, stop doing his tricks and leanr how to cross and take a free kick.

    Geroge Best. When Pele says he was the greatest player of all time, then there's no contest.

    I for one dont want Ronaldo to stop doing his tricks, he puts alot of excitment and entertainment into the game doing so, I do agree with you that he needs to play more as a team as at times he can become quite selfish with the ball but the tricks should keep on coming.

    Best was the Best, simple as that. I had the pleasure of meeting the man and got his autograph and he was the nicest man to talk to. Ronaldo will never compare to the guy.

    wow must have been a honor flight[IMG] I met most of the Arsenal team and they signed my JVC shirt when i was living in London that was pretty cool but the lucky one in my family is my Grandad. He met Bobby Moore in London just after the '66 world cup and got an autograph. He said he was a complete gent and he was as easy to talk to as a mate[IMG]
