^^^I'm thinking that Manafort rolled the dice in his first trial and when he lost he and his lawyers reassessed his position. As it stands, after sentencing he could be looking at spending the rest of his life in jail. And with the upcoming second trial looming he may be opt for cooperating with Mueller in return for a reduced sentence for the 8 counts of the first trial. ...Trump is the captain on a sinking ship that also includes some other crew members.
He might even be renegotiating for an elimination of a retrial on the other counts in the first trial.
...yeah, I'm sure he and his lawyers are willing to do whatever it takes to keep his jail time at a bare minimum. ...and if/when he rolls I hope he uses plenty of sandy vaseline on Trump.
...you do realize that it was covered by many other outlets/sources, don't you? https://www.google.com/search?q=manafort plea deal&oq=manafort plea deal&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i60j69i65j69i60.5969j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 . . .
The Washington Post has over 50 Pulitzer prizes for journalism. I'd say they're credible. Of course you'd have to go to Fox News to get the straight scoop.
...agreed...I guess we need to take into account that the objection is coming from someone who blindly scours the internet for anything that might bolster his narrative...and then copies and pastes whatever drivel he can find without even reading it first.
So when Fox News doesnt identify their sources (which they also do) are they fake news? Asking for a friend.
