http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=845203 wow! i expected him to make Chelsea a powerhouse. very very good steal for Robinho even if they spent alot! Real Madrid (my 2nd favorite team after Manu) are in a sh*t load of trouble if they don't get anyone new (especially wingers) especially when Robben gets injured.
That was a great signing by City, it automatically brings them as one of the favorites for the top EPL spot.
Robinho will not be a flop. he is maybe 85% the player Cristiano is. He was just never really allowed to play his game in Real. Manchester City will knock of Arsenal if they break in the top 4 IMO
Yeah Liverpool I agree. I see United, Arsenal, Chelsea and either City or Spurs for the 4th position. (Liverpool still have a chance depending on how Torres does this season)
Last years standing - That's quite a fair margin. I don't think people realize how close Arsenal were. I like being the team that people don't think can win it. <table id="premier-league" border="0" width="502"><tbody><tr><th style="width: 36px;" class="first" scope="col">Pos</th> <th style="width: 219px;" scope="col">Team</th> <th style="width: 25px;" scope="col">P</th> <th style="width: 25px;" scope="col">W</th> <th style="width: 25px;" scope="col">D</th> <th style="width: 25px;" scope="col">L</th> <th style="width: 25px;" scope="col">F</th> <th style="width: 25px;" scope="col">A</th> <th style="width: 25px;" scope="col">+/-</th> <th style="width: 30px;" scope="col">Pts</th> </tr> <tr> <td class="first">1</td> <td>Manchester United</td> <td>38</td> <td>27</td> <td>6</td> <td>5</td> <td>80</td> <td>22</td> <td>58</td> <td>87</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="first">2</td> <td>Chelsea</td> <td>38</td> <td>25</td> <td>10</td> <td>3</td> <td>65</td> <td>26</td> <td>39</td> <td>85</td> </tr> <tr class="Arsenal"> <td class="first">3</td> <td>Arsenal</td> <td>38</td> <td>24</td> <td>11</td> <td>3</td> <td>74</td> <td>31</td> <td>43</td> <td>83</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="first">4</td> <td>Liverpool</td> <td>38</td> <td>21</td> <td>13</td> <td>4</td> <td>67</td> <td>28</td> <td>39</td> <td>76</td></tr></tbody></table>
I think Robhino will be similar to the impact of torres: get into the top 10 in the prem of what pos they play.
Just making the top ten wouldn't be a similar impact to Torres. He's easily top three among forwards.
I've always been a Real fan. My father is from Spain and I haven't ever missed a game ever. Robinho sucks. He is the definition of overated. He takes too much time doing dumb ass tricks with his feet and that brings the defense back up and it messes up the whole play. I'd much rather have Robben who is a fast player who doesn't waste his time. Plus, Robben doesn't show up drunk to practice or travels to Brazil to celebrate his birthday the night before practce. Quote me if you want, Robinho will do nothing!
I honestly don't think Man City's new owners will care if he flops or not in terms of money, but rather be disappointed that he couldn't help the team go further. Man City now has the richest owner in football. Roman Abramovich has £12.7b Man City's Abu Dhabi UGIDL has £500b Take that Mr. Abramovich.
