Manchester City - Time To Go Foreign?

    Assuming that SP does go, is it time for City to appoint a foreign manager? Unless I'm mistaken, we've never had an overseas manager but just look at the top of the premiership table and you'll see that apart from one club (their name escapes me at the moment), they're all managed by Europeans. Is this the way for City to go - after all one of the main complaints this season has been a lack of technique and basic ability - could we find a Wenger for instance to address that? Could someone like Louis Van Gaal at AZ Alkmar be tempted, particularly if the significant financial investment does materialise. If so, who do you think could/should be approached? Anyone suggesting Sven Goren Eriksson can expect a visit from the men in white coats.

    I don't think an English manager has ever won the premiership...
