Ives reports that Man U will be coming state-side and will take on the MLS All-Stars as a part of their four (or five?) match summer tour of North America. They'll also be playing in Kansas City, Toronto, and Philadelphia. I thought that Chivas de Guadalajara was a part of this tour as well, but who knows.
Reliant Stadium in Houston. Its got the indoor option, but has a real grass surface. USA played Mexico there a couple years ago.
I want to go there. lol United will win no doubt. I saw Barcelona play New York 3 or 4 years ago in the Giants stadium, packed full 80,000+, all rooting for Barca. lol
I wouldn't go so far ahead with that prediction. Clearly on paper, they're superior, but this is July soccer where Man U will be looking to stretch the legs a bit and get in shape, while MLS players are going for it to prove that they can play with anyone in the world. They beat Chelsea a few years back when Mourinho was coaching and they had just won the Premiership.
