    Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Bulgarian hitman - after making his competitive debut at the weekend against Liverpool - will miss Manchester United's midweek clash with Villarreal. Cristiano Ronaldo will make the bench, but Michael Carrick has been sidelined for six weeks.

    United were a pile of shite in this game. Should have had 2 penalties but didn't, other than that didn't really deserve to score. Both teams hit the post.
