While I was watching the Jets game, the onside kick early in the 4th quarter definitely caught me by surprise. A lot of people seemed to have a problem with it, including at first, myself. I thought Mangini had simply thrown the game away. But I read an article that actually explained the percentages behind the call. It honestly made me change my mind, I know that it didnt work this time around but I don't think it was a terrible call. I mean, had it worked, I would have been ecstatic. Here's the article link:http://www.protrade.com/content/DisplayArt...3b-8d6f968a61b6Let me know what you think after reading this, it certainly changed my mind.

It was right after halftime. And it was the right call. Our offense was doing nothing and needed a spark, which the onside would have given them, And the Jets did a similar onside kick in their Indianapolis game right after a TD Drive in the second Quarter which we recovered and Mangini was considered to be a genius at the Time. They're only criticizing it because it didn't work out and hindsight is always 20/20.

At least you know your coach is willing to take risks here and there. That will bring a team a long way. I hate Gibbs being too conservative in important decisions like 4th and 1...
