    The Phoenix Coyotes kept Toronto's Phil Kessel in check just enough to escape with a shootout victory over the Maple Leafs.

    Patrick O'Sullivan and Radim Vrbata scored shootout goals, and the Coyotes overcame Toronto's furious rally to beat the Maple Leafs 3-2 on Tuesday night.
