"The Jaguars made a flurry of last-minute moves Thursday night just before the collective bargaining agreement was set to expire. Pro Bowl tight end Marcedes Lewis signed his franchise tender offer. He can still negotiate a long-term deal with the Jaguars despite signing the tender. Jacksonville agreed to a two-year deal with receiver Jason Hill, according to a source. "At this point in my career, stability is what you're looking for. No matter who you are, you're always looking for stability," Hill said. "Jacksonville gave me that. In return, I think that's what they're getting with me. Hard work pays off." The Jaguars told receiver Mike Sims-Walker they were moving on from him. Jaguars general manager Gene Smith informed Sims-Walker, who has been with the Jaguars since they drafted him in 2007. Sims-Walker said on Twitter: "It's official. I personally wanna thank all the fans who stuck with me in jacksonville for the last 4 years but sorry to say, my times is up!!""
