What type of future do you see lying a head for Marc Gasol? I personally think he will become a great player in the league with not so flashy numbers, but his impact will be felt with his defense, hustle and big body. I think he could be a 17 and 10 player in his prime. Lets not forget he's only 22 years young.

I thought he was 24? Not a big deal though just wondering.

He won an MVP in the Spanish league iirc, I think 17/10 is quite possible for him one day. Gotta love that lineage. :)

I'm pretty sure he's not 24. He might be 23, but I'm not 100% sure.

Yahoo says he was born in January '85, you probably meant at the start of the season he was 23. :]

Yeah I remember seeing that he was 23 when he first got him, I don't know if it has been his birthday yet though. Ether way he is young and has a future a head of him.

    He's 24 but it doesn't really matter...

Before I thought he wouldn't come close to being as successful as his brother Pau, but I take that back. I don't think Marc will end up as good as Pau when it's all said and done, but he can definitely come close when he reaches his prime. People don't think much of him (like I did before), but in the future, with Mayo, Gay, and all the other young pieces on the Grizzlies roster, I'm sure they'll start winning more games, and as a result, someone like Marc will get more praise/recognition. Him and Mayo are two of the best rookies in the NBA this year. He's quietly putting up some really good numbers, and has been playing great too. He opened my eyes the last time the Lakers played Memphis.

Because of Marc, Wallace has a chance to not look completely ripped off, the kid looks like a real gem.

Yeah, Gasol is 24 already and was the equivalent of a senior in college when he was drafted and played another season overseas. I see 14/9 in his prime since he's playing with other scorers like Mayo & Gay.

In that case, Kwame Brown is better than Amare.

Pau is a PF who defends his position more than well enough, he's no Amare.
