    <u>Harris Remains Poker-Faced</u>
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Jun 28 - Bucks GM Larry Harris said he fielded telephone calls from several NBA officials Wednesday concerning the availability of the team?s top pick.

"We had been getting calls before, but now we're cutting through the minutiae," Harris said of trade discussions. "The calls we're getting now definitely have more meat to them."

Harris said there was one trade proposal that more than piqued his curiosity, although he refused to expand on the subject. There have been whispers the Phoenix Suns and Bucks have discussed a trade proposal that would have the Bucks sending the No. 6 pick and Bobby Simmons to Phoenix for Shawn Marion, who is regarded as one of the best all-around forwards in the game. -- Racine Journal Times </div>
This actually seems like the first legitimate trade proposal ive heard in a while that might work. lol
This would defneitly help the Suns. You could make a run at Mike Connely to replace Nash or Acie Law. You could get a good energy player liek Noah, or grab a good scorer in Al thornton. Even get Brandan Wright to run the floor and block shots. Theres so many options at that #6 pick.

Plus theyd get Bobby Simmons whos not bad, even though hes got a ridiculous contract size.

This would give the Bucks two players making franchise money (Redd & Marion), who aren't franchise caliber players.

I'm not sure I make this deal if I'm Milwaukee because Villanueva is a similar player to Marion. Unloading Simmons contract is a positive, but you're taking back more money, and you lose a draft pick in the process.

If I were the Bucks I'd want one of Phoenix's 1st rounders as compensation, because Marion can opt out next year if he's not happy.
