When we got Hassan Whiteside I posted my unfavorable opinion of the acquisition, based mostly on gossip from that liberal sports rag ESPN. I had only seen him play a few times. I only watch Blazers games and we only get national broadcasts here. Thanks Comcast. Well, we got Hulu live a couple weeks ago and, well you know the rest of the story. A Tip of The Cap to a Real American Rejector.
Politicizing a post in a Portland Trailblazer forum regarding an opinion of a player is an extremely weak argument but then again, not surprising from the culprit.
and why do we need a political attack in the Blazer section? Clean out his political call out from the post or keep it in the ot section.
I am chill. Just don't see the necessity of bringing maris's slanted political view into the Blazer section. I have my right to an opinion as much as anyone else and I will state it when I feel appropriate. Fair enough?
Origin of thereupon First recorded in 1125–75, thereupon is from the Middle English word ther uppon that has nothing to do with basketball or anything really, except that I was just wondering about the word. I suppose next I should look up the history of the words 'trivial' and 'irrelevant' since those would define this post
lol. Not arguing as I simply asked a couple questions. Your initial response struck me as very odd, but then again .......
I thought it was a joke, and I thought it was kind of funny based on Maris' personality in general and the fact that ESPN is not political at all. No real need to go off on it. The meat of the post was that he didnt like Whiteside now he loves him. I agree I was skeptical but optimistic of the Whiteside pick up and Whiteside has exceeded my expectations, the dude is a monster and in his short time being here has become a Blazer legend.
