I was just watching an clip of the Craig Kilborn show where Mark Cuban was a guest. He said that he contacted the Lakers and inquired about Shaq. Supposedly their response to him was this: "You have nothing we want". Craig Kilborn who was flabbergasted went on to say this: "But you have Dirk Nowitzki". Mark Cuban then responded with this: "They never asked for him, they just said that you have nothing we want" Now I have a hard time believing this because IF the Lakers were able to acquire Dirk instead of Odom they would be stupid not to ask for him. Cuban is just spreading propoganda as usual, just look at what he said after Nash got signed. I just wish this guy could shut up for once.
I agree...that sounds like a load of BS if u ask me...but if it were true, it would only be becasuse the lakers didn't want to trade shaq to dallas, not because nowitski wasn't good enough
