If the mavs lose tonight, do you think that mark cuban will sell the team in the offseason? Sadly i think so. I honestly think that its coming. I think he's tired of paying over the salary cap for players who don't get him anywhere and choke. I'm predicting that if he does sell the team, that the team will eventually be rebuilt and possibly be built around dirk. possibly but seeing how he's 29 and won't get any better they might ship him off. lets see what develops. another reason he might sell the team is because the stock of the mavericks is going down. not really going down but is it getting any better? no so you figure it out. just watch he's gonna sell the team. The problem with making any moves is the ownership. Cuban will sell the Mavs this summer, especially after this collapse, because he knows the value of this franchise is heading south, quickly. A new owner likely won't be so willing to spend like Cuban, and hence the problem.

That's why this catastrophic end to the Mavs season is so awful, because it will affect many Mav seasons to come. This team will be very different come training camp. How can it not be? Dirk may be gone, because he can't lead a team to anything, Stack won't come back (why would he?), and Terry and Harris may be trade bait as well. Howard and Dampier (because of his contract) may be the only starters left, which means starting all over from scratch, and that may not be a bad thing.

I think the mavs are becoming the Sacramento Kings from earlier this decade. Sometimes you just have to start over. 2 straight legendary and historic collapses in the NBA playoffs means wholesale changes should be seriously considered. This current Mav team is just weak-minded and will never win a title. Its just sad.

Cuban will never disown the Mavs.

I think he'll make one more move this summer and trade for a super star and see how the team does next year. If that fails, he'll probably leave next year.

yeah maybe. but he might sell the team this year. remember all the talk of him almost selling the team last year after the mavericks finals collapse? this year is ten times worse. they we're supposed to win. to make matters worse, your team does up making history by going out in the first round. this one stings even more. due to the fact he lost to the guy he let go don nelson it makes everything a little sour. well maverick fans, have fun at the M.V.P. parade. Dirk NoWinzki true definition of a M.V.P Most Vanishing Player.

I don't think Cuban would go out on a losing note, especially after losing to Nellie. He has way too much ego to do that. He'll be back next year.

I feel bad for Cuban. This team pretty much gives him life and hes been through 2 year heartbreak years in a row.

He`ll be back. Like I said, this team is his life.
