Alabama tailback Mark Ingram appears on track to return against Duke.

Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said Monday the Heisman Trophy winner will practice Monday after missing the first two games with a knee injury.

Saban says Ingram will get limited practice repetitions "just to see how he gets back into it." Ingram worked some last Thursday, but the coaches decided he didn't log enough practice time to risk playing for the top-ranked Tide against Penn State.

This is very good news for Tide fans like me, bad news for Alabama's opponents! They have not needed him in their first two games. He adds to the running back depth of this team. He also gives Mcelroy another target out of the back field.

Is he actually better than Richardson? I don't doubt he's a guy that you want back and active, but I'm curious as to what you think.

Sort of reminds me of Arkansas with McFadden and Felix Jones or even Auburn with Cadillac and Ronnie Brown... some teams stumble onto a pair of badass RBs.
