I am 100% sure Cashman is already on this one. A reject, piece of trash from another team never makes it to the bottom of the dumpster without Cashman intercepting it, sniffing it, and signing it.

As long as Cashman is Yankee GM, MLB needs to change the term 'Designated for Assignment (DFA)' to 'Designated to Yankees (DTY)', because it goes without saying anyone that gets DFA'd naturally becomes DTY'd.
