http://espn.go.com/nba/powerrankings I love what he said too! LMAO! I can't believe he dropped SAS all the way to #5. That was a considerable drop!
CNNSI dropped us to #6. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nba/news/20131202/nba-power-rankings-indiana-pacers-miami-heat-san-antonio-spurs/
Looking at that list I am encouraged. But really all I care about is a top 4 finish in the west to give us a fighting chance in the 1st round. It won't be easy. The Clips are deep, Houston and OKC have two allstars, SA.......... Never know with injuries. Of course that could happen to us as well.
Can you imagine if we get the #1 seed but we have to play Phoenix in first round? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I wouldn't say im excited, fearful perhaps, trepidatious perhaps, nauseated in and anxiety filled stupor perhaps, but I am quite interested to peer through the crevasses of my fingers as I block my own view of the TV. I hope we come out of this in fine form, but as you might be able to tell, I am not confident at all.
The Thunder, Spurs, Rockets, Clipps, and Warriors are the teams I’d say will be hardest to beat. The first round of the playoffs is going to be insanely tough, even if we get a top4 seed and home court advantage. A matchup with the Spurs would be fun, as we seem to match up well with them and have a great chance of dethroning the reigning conference champs. I’m going to enjoy each win this season and hope we make some noise in the playoffs but just because a team has a great regular season in the west doesn’t mean much for this years playoffs.
Same here... although I do take some comfort knowing I felt the Blazers had no chance against the Warriors and they surprised me. Then the day after against the Bulls... no way are they winning that one... oh wait, surprise! Plus it is a home game and the Moda Center should be rockin'!!!
