Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira is still feeling pain in his damaged right wrist more than a week after receiving a cortisone shot intended to soothe the discomfort from a partially torn tendon sheath, again raising the possibility that Teixeira will need to undergo season-ending surgery.

"He's still experiencing soreness," Yankees general manager Brian Cashman told ESPNNewYork.com on Monday. "We're trying to work through it."
