Marshawn Lynch, Steven Hauschka good play in Seattle 22 win Baltimore 17
Lynch finished with 109 yards rushing and Seattle's lone touchdown, Steven Hauschka matched a franchise record with five field goals, and the Seahawks forced three turnovers in a 22-17 win.

Lynch became the first Seattle running back to record consecutive 100-yard rushing games since Julius Jones early in the 2008 season, following up on his 135 yards rushing last week against Dallas. Lynch carried a career-best 32 times, and most of those equaled short gains, but the types of yards Seattle needed against Baltimore Ravens' defense.

Hauschka kicked field goals of 22, 38, 39, 35 and 30 yards. Tarvaris Jackson was 17 of 27 for 217 yards, and Lynch had 109 yards rushing and another 58 receiving as Seattle snapped a three-game losing streak. The Seahawks also picked up their second victory over a division-leader this season after beating the New York Giants in early October.

These flops by the Ravens are rare occurrences since John Harbaugh took over as head coach in 2008. The latest was the fourth loss by the Baltimore Ravens against a sub-.500 team under Harbaugh, and two of them have been since Week 2.

Marcus Cannon added to Pats' roster
The 6-foot-6, 348-pound Cannon, the team's fifth-round draft choice out of TCU, said last month that he's in full remission from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, a form of cancer. He returned to practice last month and his three-week window expired Tuesday, forcing the Patriots to decide whether to add him to the 53-man roster or shift him to season-ending injured reserve.

New England Patriots rookie offensive tackle Marcus Cannon was added to the active roster from the reserve/non-football injury list on Tuesday, which was the deadline for players who started the season on the PUP list to be activated. He has completed his recovery from an unexpected bout with cancer, and the team has now deemed him sufficiently healthy to be elevated to the active 53-man roster.

Cannon had been practicing with the team, during the three-week window that may be opened between Week Six and Week Nine. The deadline for making a move with him was approaching.

To make room for Cannon, the New England Patriots released safety Ross Ventrone.

Last month after he returned to practice, the 23-year-old Cannon said he never considered life without football.

Cannon's treatments were in Fort Worth, Texas, and it turns out that was one of the most challenging parts to his recovery.

Jonathan Vilma out after knee surgery

Because of undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery . Jonathan Vilma has missed the last two games with the New Orleans Saints . He has struggled for weeks with a left knee injury, had surgery for his bothersome condition despite earlier denials by the team

Vilma indeed did undergo surgery. He was inactive for Sunday’s overtime victory at Atlanta Falcons that came courtesy of Mike “The Gambler” Smith.

But there was no detail reports about when the surgery was performed . Meanwhile when he will reture was also unclear

Vilma had been hampered for weeks and he was also sidelined last week when the Saints played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has been wearing a soft brace on the knee.

So, while the New Orleans Saints have been mighty open with the media about the knee surgery coach Sean Payton had – someone even provided medical results to Fox – they’ve been hush-hush when it comes to the veteran linebacker.

According to the report .Much speculation had surrounded Vilma's condition, not only because he missed several practices but the linebacker also did not attend his foundation's annual fundraising dinner last week in New Orleans.
