I read where the Rams have thrown 75% percent of the time the last 2 games & Martz says this will continue. You can't win in the league today w/ this mind set. Thoughts?

I saw an interesting commentary on Monday Morning QB about this very thing. They were criticizing Martz for not using Faulk more often. They threw an interesting stat up on the screen. When Faulk gets 25+ carries, they have NEVER lost.

And what the *^(%(&& is he thinking announcing his intentions to the world? There was a horrible experiment that Tice tried a few years ago called the "Randy Ratio". Remember that? Everyone knew about it and played to that ratio. It killed us. Even Randy Moss said that others needed to start getting the ball.

I guarantee that other teams are going to gameplan for an arial attack and not worry about the running game, even though the Rams have one of the most versatile backs in the league.

Tops in number of offensive penalties - tied for 3rd in sacks allowed - average in INTs thrown - tied for 2nd in fumbles lost (making them tied for 7th overall)

These are not necessarily damaging statistics, but they are clearly not the sign of an awesome offense. They will stuggle to win with this kind of performance out of their offense. They are in the top 10 in offense, but you can run a lot of yards without scoring if a TO or a big penalty gets in the way.

Martz's downfall is his bold ego. If you have the greatest show on turf, you can be bold and take chances. That show has been closed for awhile though.

I have been calling for Martz's head since before last season.....the guy is an ego maniac and has no ability to just admit he is wrong.

if i'm not mistaken Martz did lead the Rams to the super bowl. Vermeil in 99 but Martz got them there after that. They lost but thats a different story

True, but Barry Switzer "led" the Cowboys to a Superbowl win in pretty much the same way....and where is he now?

Cowboy has a great example. I will further that by saying its was with players acquired primarily by Crying Dick Vermeil.

Nobody talks about Martz's personnel decisions but they rank (boy are they) up (or down as the case may be) w/ Wanny's.
