High school's fastest man is headed to Tallahassee.

ESPNU 150 athlete Marvin Bracy (Orlando, Fla./Boone) made his verbal commitment to Florida State on Thursday afternoon during a news conference at his school.

"Everything about FSU was the right fit for me," Bracy said. "I had a great relationship with Coach [Rick] Trickett [the offensive line coach who recruits Orlando for the Seminoles], and we developed a strong bond. I always enjoyed my time there and I couldn't ask for a better fit."

The 5-foot-9, 168-pounder is ranked as the No. 14 athlete in the class. He is the Seminoles' 14th verbal commitment and eighth in the ESPNU 150.

Bracy finished his junior season with nearly 1,500 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns but is known more for his prowess on the track.
