http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/436..._set_to_return/ <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Marvin Williams is on his way back, and earlier than expected, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting. Williams has been cleared to suit up for Friday's game against the Lakers in Los Angeles, four days before he was slated to return from a fractured finger on his left hand that cost him the first month of the season. "I'm trying to get ready by Friday," a grinning Williams said after a rigorous pregame workout with Hawks assistant coach David Fizdale. "I'm going to be winded for sure, because there's nothing like basketball shape. It'll take me a week or so to get all the way back to where I want to be. But I'll be there Friday night, which is most important, and I'll be back to normal in no time."</div> This is awesome that he's getting back on track sooner than expected. Marvin has a lot of potential, and getting him back into the swing of things sooner is a major plus. Before the season, it was reported that he would start at the 4 over Shelden Williams, it will be interesting to see if that still stands once he gets back into solid form. He certainly does different things than Shelden on the floor. I personally think having Shelden in the starting lineup would be better, with Marvin off the bench, due to rebounding, strength, size, and low post defense. Good luck Marvin!
That's good news, with Childress out...maybe he shoud start of the bench and in a week in the starting 5.
Great news for he hawks. They can really use him right now. Hawks are showing they can play and keep up with this weak east. I like what im seeing from the hawks when I watch them. Lou has stepped up his game alot. And to get marvin back is great news

Think thats good Smith on PF and m Williams on SF!I think they need someone that can shoot a SF! Childress is a geat offencive reebounder he's worthy

But Smith is the better defender and rebounder so I like him more at the 4.
