Mateen Cleaves signing with Denver

Mateen has played a little bit of everywhere.

 

They probably won't keep him for long.

I believe you're right. He's just a band-aid. But, they say he's been working on his game so maybe he'll catch some other team's eye.

 

I don't think he has stayed with a team for more than a season. Every stint has been a few months.

 

Yeah he was with Seattle for a while, he's a solid player but teams just use him for fresh legs when someone else is injured or they want to rest there real back up pg. I remember seeing Cleaves play in person, he has game. At one point I think he went on a 7-0 scoring run by himself, but he wasn't an NBA quality pg. I hope he stays in the league this time though.

Cleaves was my favorite college player while he was at Michigan St., winning a ring.

Good to see him back on an NBA team.
