The Texas Rangers took the cautious route with starting pitcher Matt Harrison on Wednesday, saying they'll place him on the 15-day disabled list with an inflamed nerve in his lower back, retroactive to Saturday. Right-hander Justin Grimm will get called up from Triple-A Round Rock to start the series opener at Seattle on Thursday night, when the move will become official.
