Though he has had a rough season due to lingering injuries. This guy is an amazing physical specimen. He has transitioned quickly from College QB to NFL WR. Though this season was supposed to be his breakout, Leftwich has had a tough season. I read an interesting article about Matt Jones. So much Potential, being misused by the Jags IMO. They should be taking lessons on how the Jets use Brad Smith and work some of his versatility behind center into the offense. He was a College QB, why hasn't he thrown any passes this year?
I think the Jags have too much invested in big, tall deep threats. Now that Jimmy Smith is gone, they have nobody who is a solid go-to-guy. What they need is a good, crisp, precise route-runner who can get some separation.Matt Jones has made the transition rather smoothly, and I had him pegged this season for a breakout as well...I drafted him in 2 FFLs! What a bust that was.
