It was a good move by JP... Stairs is one of the most clutch players on the team and we need players that know how to hit with runners in scoring position... I don't care how old he is... The guy plays ice hockey during the off season!!!</p>
I'm a big fan of Matt Stairs too and hope he's got two more season like this past one left in him.</p> The thing with baseball is I can never really say signing someone to a two-year deal is a bad thing. Since there's no salary cap I really don't care how Ted Rogers spends his money, he might as well give it to one of the few bright spots from last year.</p>
