I sure hope Utah brings him back, the guy was phenomenal this year; stepping up when Miles went out and then when Brewer was traded. This guy's savvy was unbelievable for a rookie and it's nice to see a perimeter defender like him on Utah's roster.

I'm also a fan of his game. How much do you think he's worth as a free agent though? I could see a team outbidding Utah for his services. You have to give credit to the Utah scouts & the coaching staff for constantly finding these diamond in the rough players.

From what I've been reading, many people think he's in the same ballpark as what CJ Miles got from the OKC offer sheet, 4-yr 16 Million. I'm sure Matthews is Utah's #1 priority before Boozer and Korver. But with so much money being put into other big names, I see his value maybe dropping a bit since contract wise with so many other big names ROLE PLAYER wise available. Hopefully Utah can lock him up for awhile though, I really like what he brings. From beginning of the year, I could tell he had potential as you can see w/ my thread about him I made in preseason, but I didn't think he would bring the same stuff Ronnie Brewer brought minus the broken jump shot.
