"Maurice Jones-Drew needs to play more games against the Indianapolis Colts.

In nine of his last 11 games dating back to last year, Jones-Drew hasn't reached the 100-yard mark.

It's probably not a coincidence that the two games he did it in were against the Colts.

He ran for 105 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries in the Jaguars' 31-28 victory over the Colts on Sunday. He also caught two passes, one an 8-yard touchdown catch.

That was a virtual replay of his effort against the Colts last December when he ran 27 times for 110 yards ad a touchdown.

The Jaguars lost that game 35-31.

But doing that well against the Colts is nothing new for Jones-Drew, who has ran for 100 yards against them five times in nine games. He's scored 12 touchdowns against them, eight rushing.

He has a total of 883 rushing yards on 165 carries against the Colts.

Jones-Drew didn't have an explanation for his success against the Colts, but said the key for the team rebounding from two 25-point losses was that they tried to have fun.

When he was asked if they played too tight the last two weeks while losing to San Diego and Philadelphia, he said, "I can't call it too tight. We wanted to play perfect. Obviously when you want to play perfect, sometimes things don't work, and sometimes you get frustrated. You can call it tight, but I wasn't the only one that saw it," he said.

"Aaron Kampman kind of said something about it, [they should be] just having fun," Jones-Drew said. "We've got to go out and enjoy this game. We're playing a child's game, and we've got to play like this. I think you saw it a little bit today, everybody was playing around, having a good time, hitting guys, whatever it may be."

Jones-Drew's running enabled the Jaguars to play the style of ball they like, controlling the ball on the ground, so they don't get into too many long passing situations."
