Maverick not concerned they've lost five of their last eight

    "With five losses over the last eight games, no one associated with the Dallas Mavericks are even thinking about searching for the panic button."What do you want us to do?'' forward Dirk Nowitzki asked. "We can't be negative now."It's a month left in the season, so try to make a little run and take some momentum in the playoffs and we'll go from there. It's too early to pack it in now.''Over the past two weeks, the Mavs have lost home games to Memphis, the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio, and road games to New Orleans and Portland. Assuming the Mavs reach the NBA Finals, they could possibly face three of these teams at some point in the playoffs.But the Mavs insist they are not the least bit apprehensive about their current state of affairs, even though they may have to win a playoff game in Los Angeles and San Antonio just to get to the Finals."I'm not concerned because I know we're a good team and we'll pull out of it,'' center Brendan Haywood said. "At the end of the day these types of things happen."
